Alexandra Barreto's "Good News Oklahoma"

The multi-talented Alexandra Barreto produced a new short film which is currently playing festivals across the nation. The movie is called "Good News Oklahoma". The movie is a comedy parodizing the way news programs are put together and the way they borrow techniques from Hollywood to put news stories together, to get higher ratings. The main character is a liberal who is fed up with the local media, and starts her own show. Already the film has won an award, it won Best Comedy Short in the Atlanta ShortsFest. The cast of "Good News Oklahoma" includes several actors: Sarayu Rao, David Crane, Valerie Azlynn, Marc Evan Jackson, John Lavelle, Peter Cilella, Kelly Sry, and Mark Irvingsen.

Alexandra Barreto also wrote and acted in another new movie called "Method" which was produced and directed by her boyfriend Rider Strong and his brother Shiloh Strong. That movie is also on tour wit screenings all around the country as well as another movie which Rider and Shiloh produced, directed and wrote called "The Dungeon Master".
