Tonight I decided to post a brief notice to let everyone know that my friend Jen Gatien, Peter Gatien's daughter, has produced a new movie that is opening in theaters this year. The movie is titled Meskada. The movie was an official selection of the 2010 Tribeca Film Festival.
The movie is about a detective, Noah Cordin who is investigating the murder of the son of an affluent politician, Allison Connor. Allison's town is a wealthy neighborhood, and the only clue in the investigation leads to Noah's impoverished hometown of Caswell. Frustrated by the investigation's pace, Allison Connor uses her power on the Meskada County Board of Commissioners to threaten to stop a new factory from opening in Caswell. As expected, Caswell residents open their own independent investigation into the murder, while Noah continues his own investigation.
This movie is one of the best movies slated for release this year so keep your eyes peeled for it.
